Do you sell or install stereos for cars and RVs?
No, we do not sell or install car or RV stereo systems. If you are in the Bend area, we recommend that you reach out to Sounds Fast. If you’re in the Redmond area, we recommend In Tune.
Do you repair electronics?
No, we do not repair electronics. But, if you have purchased the product that needs to be repaired from us, we can help facilitate the repair or replacement. We’ll work with you to have repairs completed through an authorized repair center or directly with the manufacturer.
Does Stereo Planet only sell and install stereo systems?
We may have gotten our start in Hi-Fi two channel systems, but we’ve grown since 1980! We sell and install just about anything that has to do with home technology—from speakers and smart TVs to whole-home WiFi networks and outdoor entertainment. Take a look at our service pages for more info, or feel free to give us a call. We’d be happy to help you find what you’re looking for.
Do you sell TVs?
For the most part, if we can install the product we sell it! That includes TVs, sound systems, smart home systems, and more.
Do you provide TV mounting and installation services?
We do! If you can dream it, we can make it happen. Over the years, we’ve installed TVs in floors, ceilings, at the foot of the bed, and even in the shower or bathroom vanity. Whether you want it mounted, on a mechanized lift, or on a hinge, we’ve got you covered.
How do your prices compare to other authorized dealers?
We sell all of our products at MSRP or MAP, so they’ll always be the same price as other authorized dealers. If you find an item from an authorized dealer for sale at a lower price than we’ve quoted, we are more than willing to match their price. We just ask that you provide us with a printed quote from the other dealer.
Do you have products on display?
Yes! From flatscreens to tower speakers, and everything in between. You can stop by our showroom in downtown Bend to get visual inspiration.
If I’m building a home when is the best time to contact Stereo Planet?
If you’re a homeowner or home builder, we prefer to start planning your home technology as soon as you have blueprints. Not only does this help you budget accordingly, it also allows us to avoid expensive and time-consuming retrofits. We most definitely want to be in communication with you when you meet with your electrician. At this point, your home is typically ready for wiring. If you wait until after insulation and sheetrock has been installed, it’s much more difficult to wire and can be much more expensive.
Do you install other people’s equipment or do you require all equipment to be purchased through Stereo Planet?
Yes, we’ll install your equipment as well as ours. However, the labor hours will cost a little more per hour than what we normally charge our purchasing customers.
Do you charge for design services?
We won’t charge you for your first one hour in-home consultation and proposal. If you need design services beyond that and plan to either hire a contractor or do the work yourself, we can provide a full design with a bill of material and a blueprint layout for our regular hourly rate.
